Hey London, we've missed you! We can't wait to welcome you back to the museum.

We’re excited to welcome you to the Museum of London, the museum that tells the story of the world’s greatest city and all its people.

To make sure that you have a safe and enjoyable visit to the museum, you now need a free ticket, which you can book in advance using the calendar on this page. Advance ticket booking is highly recommended, but there will be a limited number of walk-up tickets available on the day for spontaneous visits. Call 020 7030 3300 to check ticket availability before you visit.

A free general admission ticket to the museum includes entry to the Dub London: Bassline of a City display from Friday 2 October. Please note that there is limited capacity in the display space and you may be asked to queue at peak times.

Our opening times have changed on weekdays. We’ll be open from 11.30am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday and from 10am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please be aware that we will need to start clearing the galleries 20 minutes before closing time.

Extended opening times for October half term! The Museum of London will be open from 10am-6pm every day from Saturday 24 October-Sunday 1 November - free general admission tickets available now.

Visitors to the Museum of London and Museum of London Docklands will be required to wear face coverings upon entering both sites unless otherwise exempt. Please note that we will be requesting contact details from the lead booker for the NHS Test and Trace scheme. For more information about the other measures we’ve introduced to ensure the best possible visitor experience for everyone, please check the COVID-19 measures page.

We look forward to seeing you at the Museum of London very soon.
