Session description

Our experts will guide you around this unique space: an immersive reconstruction of a Temple of Mithras. Develop your pupils' enquiry skills by investigating a curious collection of everyday items used by people during the first few decades of the Roman period.

Build their geographical understanding of key features of the city of Londinium as you walk between the two sites, and make comparisons with life today.

To cap it all off, feed your pupils' imagination with guided exploration of the Museum of London’s Roman London gallery.

 90 minute London Mithraeum visit, 30 minute guided walk and a 60 minute Roman London gallery visit
