Help us bring together and display the stories and objects that make London the world’s greatest city.
The Museum of London is proud to hold the definitive London Collection. However, constant activity is required to add to, interpret, conserve and display our unique content.
Our ability to do so relies heavily on the generosity of the museum’s supporters.
From the largest archaeological archive in the world, to our stunning fashion, art and social history collections, the museum charts the incredible story of the greatest city in the world, and its people.
With your help we will add exciting new acquisitions, ensure the long-term stability of our collections and create fantastic new galleries, exhibitions and displays.
Help us help us bring together and display the stories and objects that make London the world’s greatest city by supporting one of our current projects:
A major exhibition and events season launching in summer 2017, exploring global cities and the ongoing development and systems of our city, London.
We are now seeking supporters and sponsors who can help us deliver a fascinating, challenging and diverse season that reaches the largest possible audience.
Help us create a brand new website in conjunction with the 350 year anniversary of the Great Fire of 1666. Launching in September and drawing on our incredible collections and those of the London Metropolitan Archives, this will become the site for anyone wanting to find out about the Great Fire.
Replacing our hugely popular existing site for schools (which attracted over 275,000 visitors last year) and featuring games, animated maps, 3D objects, an interactive timeline and films, this site will attract hundreds of thousands of visitors in its first year.
Your support will enable us to deliver this exciting new online resource at a time of peak interest in this topic

More than ten years after it opened, the Museum of London Docklands attracts more visitors than ever, and is increasingly popular with visitors in family groups.
To ensure our family visitors gain as much from their visit as possible, we plan to make changes to our galleries that will range from new captions and interpretation (allowing different generations of a family to explore an object together), to brand new spaces within our galleries where families can directly interact with our collection.
With your support we will transform the experience of the Museum of London Docklands for young people and their families.
