Understanding audiences

A number of resources have been developed to support museums in the processes, techniques and skills involved in audience monitoring and evaluation. The 10 factsheets below are just one-side of A4 to ensure they are easy to access and digestible. They provide an introduction to each topic and outline the key important issues surrounding each technique/activity.

London Volunteers in Museums Awards

  • The annual awards were held in 2015 at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich
  • Winners' profiles and stories are included in the LVMA awards booklet 2015 (PDF 1mb, opens in a new tab)
  • The 2014 awards were held at the Jewish Museum in Camden and were attended by around 180 volunteers, volunteer managers and other industry professionals

Information and Records Management Project resources, 2007 - 2012

From 2007, Renaissance London's 'Information and Records Management Project' helped to raise awareness of, and increase capacity for, information and records management in London’s museums. There are a number of useful resources on this website, which can be found below.
