Docklands Cinema Club

Watch a great film every month screened in our Grade I listed Georgian warehouse. Enjoy drinks, popcorn and film introductions by leading writers, directors, critics and fans.

Film screenings take place on the second Friday of every month. Tickets can be bought for individual screenings, or for an annual fee of £25 (£18 concs) members can enjoy 6 free Docklands Cinema Club tickets per year. Call 020 7001 9844 for more information.

The Story of Lovers Rock (2011) 12A

This ground-breaking study of Lovers Rock or ‘romantic reggae’ explores the black British sound of the 1970s and 80s which developed against a backdrop of riots and racial tensions, and went on to influence a huge number of musicians, from Gregory Isaacs to UB40.
