Roman archaeology under your feet

Go on an interactive walk with our team of guides from the museum’s Archaeological Archive. Discover the evidence of Londinium, found beneath the city’s streets on a walk from the museum, around various Roman sites in the City of London, finishing at the Guildhall amphitheatre.

Archaeology up close: Romans in Southwark

Find out about the fascinating remains of a large Roman public building that was discovered in Southwark Street in the 1980s. Archaeological Archive volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and show objects from the site.
