Enquiries and booking for schools

Ready to book your school visit, or have questions? We can help.

I want to book a self-directed visit

The Museum of London is now closed to visitors but the Museum of London Docklands remains open. If you haven't been before, we really recommend a visit! Explore the galleries to find out what to expect.

To make a booking, check your preferred gallery or galleries are free with our quick reports, which are updated regularly. After checking, simply complete the online booking form:

You can include a class visit to our hands on Mudlarks gallery for under-8s as part of a self-led visit - just tick Mudlarks as one of your preferred gallery options in your booking request form.

We can’t take self-directed visit bookings by phone, but if you have any issues or haven’t heard from us within two days, email us at [email protected] and we’ll be sure to get back to you. You might find these self-directed visit resources handy in your planning, too.

I want to book or explore live streams

Book one of our live lessons that you can join on our website, all for free. See our incredible museum objects and displays in interactive, fun ways and ask your pupils' questions to our experts, all from the comfort of your own classroom.

I want to book or explore facilitated museum visits

Our facilitated, interactive visits to the Museum of London Docklands cover key topics including the Blitz, Victorian London and the science behind the docks. We are currently developing more sessions based on the Museum of London Docklands' themes including migration and London's links to the transatlantic slave trade.

Information about how to book can be found within the information for each session, so have a search of the list of opportunities and follow the instructions given to book. Join our Teachers' Network to be the first to hear when bookings open for future terms and when we launch new sessions.

I want to book or discuss SEND visits and activities
