LAARC awarded largest archaeological archive title London & Partners have named the Museum of London’s archaeological archive, known as LAARC, the largest in the world as part of World Record London. The largest archaeological archive title, adjudicated by Guinness World Records, pushes the UK capital a step closer to becoming a world record breaking city.

A sweet skyline of London

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Museum of London Docklands the artist Chris Naylor has created a model landscape of London, using 2186 sugar cubes! Originally built in the 1800s by wealthy merchants and slave plantation owners, the building the museum is housed in once held great cargoes of sugar, rum and coffee.
