Award-winning museum learning

We've won awards in recognition of the high quality of our work.

We don't like to blow our own trumpets here at the museum, but here's what the Sandford Award judge said of our provision:

'The Museum of London is visited by a very great number of schools which is a testament to its success in engaging and inspiring pupils and teachers; the fascinating range of London artefacts laid out in chronological order with clear labelling is wonderfully informative for children.... All the galleries in the main museum are planned for learning, which is why the museum works so well for schools... the place buzzes with children discovering new facts and objects'.

We also hold the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge, a nationally-recognised indicator of good quality educational provision, and we're signed up to the Kids in Museums manifesto as part of our commitment to welcoming families, teens and babies to all our venues.
