Vyki, Curator of Social and Working History

"I love working at the Museum of London – amazing collections, friendly people and a really exciting future, especially with the New Museum on the horizon. The variety of the curatorial work I do here is exhilarating, from curating precious war medals to sewage! The museum is open to staff ideas, and trying new things, as I found through their support of my Museums Association Transformers project."

Cliff, Chief Technician

"As Chief Technician, I am responsible for overseeing the workshops operations. The technicians undertake object mounts, supports and framing for exhibitions and gallery displays, and maintain these displays to present the best public experience. Our work also involves providing technical support to most other museum departments. I enjoy working in this museum environment amongst such interesting and varied collections. No two days are the same and each brings its own challenges to be resolved – the bit I thrive on! It’s enlivening to work among such a professional, dedicated and friendly group of people, many of whom have become firm friends."
